Tropicamide is a chemical compound used in eye drops to dilate the pupil for diagnostic procedures and eye surgeries. It's also used to test for narrow-angle glaucoma.
How it works 
Tropicamide is an anticholinergic drug that works by blocking the parasympathetic constrictor muscle in the iris.

• This allows the sympathetic dilator muscles to take over, causing the pupil to dilate.
• The pupil usually dilates within 15 minutes and remains dilated for about 4–5 hours.

When it's used

• Tropicamide is used before eye exams, cataract surgery, retinal surgery, and other ocular procedures.It's also used to test for narrow-angle glaucoma

PREGABALIN (pre GAB a lin) treats nerve pain. It may also be used to prevent and control seizures in people with epilepsy. It works by calming overactive nerves in your body.
